Where to eat in Richmond, Tasmania
Richmond has a wonderful history and is only 25km, around 25 minutes from Hobart. Building the town started in 1820 after Governor Sorrel had confiscated 40 acres of land so that he could create a town that would be the centre of the Coal River Valley, the food bowl of the infant colony.
There are many places to eat in Richmond, and below are some of my favourites, in order of preference.
